Premium Tyvek® 1059B Construction

Unlike standard paper pouches, HALYARD* plasma pouches are constructed using premium Tyvek® 1059B. This material consists entirely of flashspun and bonded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) filaments. This unique composition offers an superior microbial barrier that is tough, durable, and highly resistant to moisture, making it the industry standard for low-temperature sterilization.
