Unlike standard steam pouches, these are constructed with a Tyvek® material backer. Tyvek® is essential for plasma sterilization as it allows for the rapid passage of the sterilant while offering superior bacterial barrier properties and moisture resistance.

The clear film front allows for easy instrument identification, while the Tyvek® backer provides exceptional strength. This multilayer design offers high puncture and abrasion resistance, protecting heavy or sharp instruments during handling and storage.
